Counselor Availability

Students are assigned a School Counselor based on the first letter(s) of their last name. 

UHS Counselors are available for students on a walk in basis as well as by appointment during
student’s open periods. Students can make an appointment with their counselor through this
link: https://linktr.ee/unicounseling  Parents wishing to schedule an appointment with a counselor
should contact the counselor directly via email. Please refer to counselor contact information on
the right column of the UHS website for counselor emails.

Before school: 8-8:30am

Student Appointment times:
During open periods (1st, 2nd, 5th, 6th- if student does not have a class)
Office Hours (students need to sign up through 5 star)
After School (7th and 8th period)

Mission Statement

The mission of the UHS Counseling program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, college and career, and personal, social, emotional development of all students. The UHS Counselors advocate for an environment that supports all students, helping them achieve their full potential along with a balanced high school experience. 

 

The counseling staff supports all students regardless of sex, sexual orientation, gender, ethnic group identification, race ancestry, national origin, religion, color, or mental or physical disability.
