Students will be able to have access to YouTube on the school network provided they have a) parent permission (can be changed on Aeries) and b) completed the training listed below.
Steps for Completing the Training
1. Students can access the training by going to the Student Filter Training Canvas Course at http://bit.ly/IUSD_YouTube (please note the underscore between IUSD and YouTube)
a. If students need to access a written transcript of the training, there is one linked on the Canvas Course
2. Students can watch the quick video, then scroll down to complete the quiz below
a. They might see a screen asking them to authorize the Google LTI in Canvas, and can click authorize and log in with their @iusd.org Google account
3. Allow for up to 3 days before students login to the filter at [filter.iusd.org]filter.iusd.org and sign in with their credentials
4. If students are experiencing any issues, please submit a helpdesk ticket on their behalf
